We go to gymnastics here Friday mornings my two year old loves it. Fantastic facilities for the kids. The guys who run it are lovely, very friendly and great with the kids. Also use the splash pool highly recommended
I took my 2 year old grandson here on Friday morning early, he had a great time, its very safe, all soft play equipment, it's the best place yet for him, planning this to be a regular event, his cousin is a year and half she also had a great time. Staff lovely and very helpful.
Well overdue replacement to the old Leisure Centre. ABM is bright and spacious and caters for all sporting types. Good sized restaurant serving hot food. Outdoor play area is excellent and also has a skate park and a BMX course.
First time seeing it. Great resource for the area. The staff running the children's gymnastics class were awesome.
Amazing facilities to tone your body at the gym or with pilate or yoga (Debbie is just absolute jewel). Swimming pool for the little ones offers many varieties that I am truly sorry I have grown up so fast. Adults swimming pool is great and Andy's aquaarobics are just what my old bones cherish - water exercises are helping to keep my posture straight and my muscles active. Saunas and steamrooms are offering this sort of relax that not only my body but also my mind is looking forward to every week. Jacuzzi is just amazing and after all of these one can also have a rest on tiled and heated beds. Absolute bliss. Staff absolutely going extra mile, (or even two!) to assists with all needs and enquiries. Downstairs refreshments area provides exactly what one may need after exercising or relaxing while visiting this wonderful complex. Ample parking area and well thought facilities for less able folks. Flowers beds well looked after, some months looked like a beautiful meadow. I am over the moon for having such great place to come to and to enjoy available facilities. (I think that Paddy is very proud watching it from above).
This was my first time visiting the Ards Blair Mayne Leisure Centre. I joined online and apon arriving was asked to fill out a hard copy of my Direct Debit form as it said in the welcome email. The centre is very light and open with a modern feel. The staff are friendly and helpful and I found the changing area, this area was very clean tidy and well layed out with ample lockers and cubical's to get changed in, it is a mixed area too. There were separate lady's and gents toilets too. The main pool was a good length for swimming up and down and not too busy. All in all I would recommend this centre to everyone!
Thankyou to all the staff.
Was mightily impressed with my first visit here. Was at a children's birthday party in the splash pool. All the kids loved it. Was Booked for private use and rooms available for after party's. Food available for the catering within the centre. Booked my sons Birthday here. Something different. 5/5 stars 👍🏻 …
Your bog standard modern government run leisure centre. Fine, but nothing great. Customer service is nice enough but be prepared to be chucked out at a moments notice if a big paying group /party are paying to get you out.
Privatisation is on the cards and may improve things though.
Missed opportunity to address Ards Borough Councils previous mistake in closing Kiltonga. Drive to Bangor / David Lloyds unless you’re happy with the basics.
